BENEATH THE HEAVENS - Our night escape to watch the City lights

The queen city of the south, Cebu City, Philippines. This is our City when the day ends, still full of light and fun. The City I grew up and met the people I know I would cherish in my life. Where my life and dreams begin, where love bloomed and fruit. Where I continue to live my beautiful life.

This was a spontaneous idea. I told my partner that I want to relax and watch the city lights. That's then we decided to go to Mountain View Resort. There's a chilling place in there where you can just chill and relax. We went there before nightfall to take a good spot to view the city lights. When we arrived, there are groups of people already there having fun and enjoying the city view.

Before we go, we bought foods we could bring to enjoy the night light. We bought donuts, drinks and Jollibee for our little daughter. I was so excited thinking about this new memory we were about to make. It's truly a blessing to look at things in a grateful heart. Being able to be together and enjoy our journey as a new family is always what I am thankful for.

When night time slowly came the city lights started to gleam. A beautiful scenery started to take shape. Slowly, but beautifully. We were able to talk about our life, dreams and goals. With a new chapter in our life there's a lot to plan and think about. Life may not be easy and will surely be full of hardships. But I know together with my family, we will make it through, and live life happily. Being able to look at the city from a mountain view gives us a different perspective in things and in life. Life may not be easy sometimes, but always remember to look at it in a different perspective and see the beauty in it. Always have an appreciative heart and life would be more beautiful to live.
