Sujood Makes Mental Healthy
With the advancement of science and technology, and the whirl that existence in the west can be, one feels obligated to mention one method that brings peace, harmony, accord, tranquility, and happiness. This practice is Sujood or prostration!People today are exposed to many daily frustrations. They are also propounded with many electrostatic charges from the atmosphere. These charges are precipitated on the central nervous systems (CNS) which becomes supersaturated. One has to get rid of these extra charges, otherwise, there is the possibility of headaches, neck aches, muscle spasms, etc. The use of anti-depressants, tranquilizers and other mood altering drugs could be reduced or eliminated with the practice of Sujood. The best way to rid oneself of these extra electrostatic charges is by dissipating them and discharging them from the body. In the same way that an electrical appliance needs to be grounded by the use of an electric cord, a person will find it helpful to do likewise.source
Dr. Ahmed Sakr states, Said:
"In Islam the concept and action of prostration (al-Sujood) is very important. It is important physically, medically, morally, spiritually and biologically. source

Scientific Perspective
Your body receives a great deal of electromagnetic radiation daily from the various electrical appliances you use, and other multiple machines that tend to be indispensible them, and the electrical lighting cannot be imagined to go off even for an hour of the day … You are a device that receives large amounts of electromagnetic radiation, that means you are being electrically charged without you feeling it.source
Nowadays you always hold gadgets like Mobile, Laptop, Computer and so on .. then all that gives a significant impact on your body and nerves. so it requires special movements or special methods to throw that energy away from your body.
A non-Muslim Western researcher, in his scientific research concluded that the best way to get rid of positive electrical charges that hurt the human body is to put one's forehead on the ground more than once a day, because the ground (Earth) is negative , it pulls positive charges as it happens with the electrical cords which are extended into the ground in buildings to pull electrical charges from lightening into the ground ... Put your forehead on the ground until you discharge all the harmful electrical charges. .. Moreover, the research increases your surprise and astonishment when it states that: "it is better to place your forehead on the soil directly! More surprising is that it states that : "The best way in this matter is to put your forehead on the ground while you are in the direction of the center of the earth , because while in this condition you get rid of the electric charges better and stronger!! .source

In the position of Sajdah due to the increased blood supply the brain receive more nourishment and it has good effect upon memory, vision, hearing, concentration, psyche and all other cognitive abilities. People who offer their prayers regularly have more will power and can cope with the difficulties of life in a much better manner. They have less incidence of headaches, psychological problems and other defects of cognitive function. In the unique position of Sajdah the neck muscles get best exercise. They have to bear the load when the forehead lies at the ground hence the neck muscles become stronger. One can note the tense pressure at the neck muscles in the position of Sajdah specially the active motion of the neck and the facial muscles when the head is being lifted. (e.g. one inch above the ground) and it will be noticed that they are in a very active motion.source
Strength in prostration shows a high blood circulation that pumps blood and the blood also gives a special boost in improving the intelligence of the brain.

The Facta
The position of Sujood helps the blood circulation work in the same direction of earth gravity, as blood which always suffers the bitter creep from the feet soles to the cardiac muscle, now pours smoothly and easily from top to bottom. This process reduces much of the vein pressure over the feet dorsum around 80 times (from the state of standing to the state of Sujood). Consequently, the risks of having varicose, which rarely affects those performing prayers regularly and properly, are diminished.source
For Patients High blood pressure is strongly recommended to perform prostration every time.
CONCLUSION
Prostration can nourish your body and organs. while the dhikr is read in prostration can nourish your conscience. It means to prostrate the health of two sides, the first side of your organs and blood, secondly, your inner side with the remembrance of dhikr in it.
